CSV Format Reference

Our importer auto-detects common column names from platform exports, but for best results your CSV should use these column headers. All columns except name, address1, city, state, and zip are optional.

Save as .csv (UTF-8 encoding). Avoid special characters in addresses — em-dashes, curly quotes, and accented characters can cause parsing issues on some systems. Standard ASCII works everywhere.

How to Export Orders from Your Selling Platform

Every major e-commerce platform lets you export order data as a CSV. The column names will differ — our importer handles column mapping so you can match their names to ours after upload.

eBay

  1. Go to eBay Seller Hub and click Orders in the top nav.
  2. Filter by date range or status (e.g., “Awaiting shipment”).
  3. Click Export (top right of the orders table) and choose Download report.
  4. Select CSV format. eBay exports shipping address fields as Buyer Name, Ship To Address 1, etc.
  5. Upload to ShippingLabel and map eBay's columns to our format in the column mapper.

Etsy

  1. Go to Shop Manager and click Orders & Shipping.
  2. Select the orders you want to export (or select all with the checkbox).
  3. Click Export CSV at the top of the orders list.
  4. Etsy's CSV uses columns like Ship Name, Ship Address1, Ship City, Ship State, Ship Zipcode.
  5. Upload and use the column mapper to align Etsy's names with ours.

Amazon Seller Central

  1. Go to Seller Central and navigate to Orders > Order Reports.
  2. Choose report type Unshipped Orders or All Orders.
  3. Set your date range and click Request Report. Amazon generates it within a few minutes.
  4. Download the .txt file (tab-delimited). Rename it to .csv and open in Excel or Google Sheets to verify before uploading.
  5. Amazon's address columns are recipient-name, ship-address-1, ship-city, ship-state, ship-postal-code.

Step-by-Step: CSV to Labels

    Upload your CSV file

    Drag and drop your file or click to browse. Accepted: .csv files up to 500 rows (Pro plan limit). The importer shows a preview of detected columns immediately.

    Map columns and review addresses

    Match your CSV column names to our fields (name, address1, city, state, zip). Review all detected addresses in a grid — flag or remove any rows with obvious errors before generating.

    Choose label format and carrier

    Select your label size (4x6 thermal or letter) and carrier template. The same format applies to all labels in the batch. If you need mixed formats, split your CSV into separate uploads.

    Generate and download

    Click Generate Labels. Labels are compiled into a multi-page PDF. Download the PDF and print all pages — your thermal printer will handle 4x6 labels one per page, or your inkjet will print letter-size sheets.

Bulk Labels Require a Pro Plan

CSV bulk import is available on the Pro plan at $19/mo. Pro includes unlimited labels, up to 500 saved addresses, 4x6 thermal output without watermark, and CSV bulk import. For individual labels without bulk needs, the free tier or Starter ($9/mo) may be enough.
