How to Reprint a USPS Shipping Label

USPS shipping labels can be reprinted as long as they haven't expired (typically 30 days from purchase). The exact reprint path depends on where you bought the label — USPS Click-N-Ship, eBay Seller Hub, Etsy, or a third-party tool. Reprinting does not cost extra postage — you're just regenerating the same label.

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Open USPS Click-N-Ship

Go to usps.com/ship/online and sign in to the account you used to buy the label. Navigate to Shipping History → Shipping Label Status.

  2. 2

    Find the label

The label list shows everything purchased in the last 6 months. Find the specific shipment by date, destination, or tracking number.

  3. 3

    Click 'Reprint'

Next to the label, click the Reprint option. USPS generates a fresh PDF — same tracking number, same postage paid. No extra charge.

  4. 4

    Print the new label

Download or print the PDF directly. Apply to your package and drop off at any USPS location. The label is still valid as long as it's within the 30-day window.

Good to know

  • Labels older than 30 days cannot be reprinted — you'll need to refund and repurchase.
  • If you bought the label through a third party (eBay, Etsy, Pirate Ship), reprint through their interface instead of USPS.com.
  • If you already scheduled a USPS pickup, you can reprint without affecting the pickup schedule — the tracking number is the same.
