How to Reprint a UPS Shipping Label

UPS shipping labels can be reprinted free within the label's void period (typically 90 days). Whether you bought via UPS.com, WorldShip, or a third-party tool like Pirate Ship, the reprint process takes under a minute.

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Log into ups.com

Sign in with the account that purchased the label. Go to Shipping → History → My Recent Shipments.

  2. 2

    Find the shipment

Browse by date or tracking number. UPS shows every label purchased in the last 90 days.

  3. 3

    Reprint

Click Print (or Reprint) next to the shipment. UPS generates a fresh PDF with the same tracking number. Print and ship.

Good to know

  • UPS void window is 90 days — you can reprint any label up to that window.
  • Labels purchased through a third-party (Pirate Ship, ShipStation) reprint through their interface instead.
  • If the original label was already scanned by UPS, reprinting produces a duplicate — use the new copy if the original is damaged.

Frequently asked questions

Is reprinting a UPS label free?
Yes. No extra cost. You already paid the postage; reprint regenerates the same label.
What if the label is older than 90 days?
Labels older than 90 days cannot be voided or reprinted via UPS.com. Contact UPS directly (1-800-742-5877) or refund and re-ship.
Can I reprint through WorldShip?
Yes. WorldShip also retains shipment history — use the History tab to reprint any recent shipment.
Can I reprint if UPS already picked up the package?
Yes, but the original label is in UPS's possession. Reprinting creates a duplicate — you won't be able to re-attach it to a package already in transit. Use the duplicate only if the package got returned or re-routed.
The original label got wet/torn on the box — can I just cover it?
Reprint and apply the fresh copy over the damaged one, fully covering the old barcode. Never leave two readable copies of the same barcode visible on different faces — sorters scan whichever they see first, and a torn half-barcode causes manual handling. One clean, flat, fully-visible label per box.
Does a reprint work on thermal if the original was letter paper?
Yes — the reprint PDF is format-agnostic. Print it on 4×6 thermal stock or letter paper as you like; the barcode content is identical. Just keep the scale at 100% when switching formats.
I shipped through a marketplace — where's my reprint button?
In the marketplace, not at ups.com: eBay, Etsy, Amazon, and platform labels live in the account that bought them. Look for Reprint on the order's shipping section. The ups.com history only shows labels created directly under your UPS login.
