Shipping Tips for Surfboards & Paddleboards

FedEx accepts surfboards up to 119 inches in length but charges a significant oversize surcharge — get a quote before shipping
Wrap the board completely in bubble wrap (at least 2 layers), paying extra attention to the nose, tail, and fins
Remove fins before packaging to prevent breakage and reduce the risk of puncturing the box
Use a surf-specific shipping bag (available from Surfboard Bags or similar brands) plus an outer cardboard box for double protection
