How to Print a Shipping Label at FedEx Office
FedEx Office (formerly Kinko's) is one of the best printing options for shipping labels — they have 2,000+ locations, extended hours, self-service kiosks, and support for both PDF printing and FedEx's own QR code Print & Go system. If you have a label PDF, you can print it from a USB drive, email, or the self-service computer for a low per-page fee. If you have a FedEx QR code label (from fedex.com), show it at the counter and they print and apply it for free.
Step-by-step
- 1
Find your nearest FedEx Office
Use fedex.com/en-us/office/locations.html to find the closest location. Most are open 7 days a week; 24-hour locations are available in major cities and near universities.
- 2
Option A: Print & Go (FedEx QR code — free)
When creating a label at fedex.com or via the FedEx app, select 'Label-free returns' or 'Print & Go' option. FedEx emails a QR code. Bring your phone with the QR code to any FedEx Office. The associate scans it, the label prints on their system, and they apply it to your package at no charge.
- 3
Option B: Self-service kiosk (bring PDF)
Bring a USB drive with the label PDF, or email it to yourself and access the email via the self-service computer kiosk. Upload the PDF, select 4×6 label size, and print. Cost: typically $0.79–$1.50 per label page.

Option C: FedEx Office associate assistance
Hand your phone or USB to the counter associate. They'll print the label for you — faster than the kiosk, same price. They'll also package it if needed (additional cost for packing services).
- 5
Drop off the package at the same location
FedEx Office locations are official FedEx drop-off points. After printing, the associate logs the package into the system and you get a receipt with the tracking number confirmation.
Good to know
- •FedEx Print & Go QR code is free at FedEx Office — it's FedEx's preferred label-free solution and eliminates any printing cost.
- •Not all FedEx Office locations have 24-hour access; check hours before making a special trip in the evening.
- •FedEx Office can also create a label from scratch if you don't have one — you pay FedEx retail rates plus a small service fee.
