Roll fabric rather than folding when possible — rolling prevents permanent crease lines that can damage some fabric types
Wrap fabric in a poly bag or plastic wrap before boxing to protect from moisture during transit
USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded Envelopes ($8.70) work well for small fabric cuts (under 5 lbs)
For heavy fabric bolts (denim, canvas, upholstery), UPS Ground is cheaper than USPS Priority Mail for packages over 5 lbs
